Join For FreeThere is one notable fact about the Nintendo Wii U console that can be shocking content for many readers. On November 18, 2012, at the time of launch, this console was the most powerful gaming console in the world. In this status, she existed for almost a whole year. Another thing to think about is that 2012-2014 is the golden time for console games. The developers have learned how to squeeze all the juices out of iron; the picture, the plot, the elaboration of the world were perfect. And, all these games went straight to the new promising console. The starting lineup for the Forgotten Console was shocking. And, the best lineup is ever available at the start.
Today, I wanted to tell you about the best games that most PC users have not played yet. All these games are worthy of attention even after 5 years after their release. I don't see why you don't start playing right after reading the article; just check out Nintendo Wii ROMs at the ROMs Planet website. Below are my own favorites that I recommend.
Bayonetta 2
It was a Platinum Games slasher released in 2014. There are 2 versions that differ slightly. I compared the 4K version for Wii U to the version for Nintendo Switch; visually, the latter has better shadows and anti-aliasing. The Vulkan version has some minor flaws with shadows and texture loading in splash screens. If this is a problem for you, you can look for other options with OpenGL.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
It is warm, sunny, and has summer vibes. It's a pleasure to play. The Switch looks great on a small screen, but I prefer 4k resolution on a large 55" screen, which is simply divine. The Vulkan version has graphic artifacts from Donkey, but everything else works fine. The game is lovely to play at any age.
New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U
It's the same Mario as 30 years ago. He is still running. He is still jumping. He is still collecting coins. The collection consists of 2 games, and they did not come out on Wii U together. I swear the game works perfectly in any mode on any device. I set the resolution up to 8k (though I didn't see the difference in the picture). For those who are feeling nostalgic about childhood and huge TVs, the game is a must.
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
This is the most famous game and a whole series from Nintendo. For some reason, PC owners, when they mention the coolest RPG, immediately think of The Witcher 3. They praise it in every way and don't talk about Zelda, which is extremely unfair to the latter. To date, game enthusiasts have done so much with the game. Everything has undergone changes starting with a million different quests and ending with skins, weapons, skills, riddles, and a whole bunch of everything else. Even the regular clean version boasts the ability to change the resolution up to 8k and support widescreen displays. The shadows, anti-aliasing, and many more things have improved drastically. You just have to give it a shot.
Super Mario 3D World
The most recent game in this collection is Mario and his friends again. According to many critics, this is one of the best games on the Nintendo platform, the best game on the Nintendo Wii U, and the best plumber game ever. Once again, the enthusiasts have tried to make the highest resolution possible, unlocked 60FPS, improved shadows, and the ability to change the color palette to your taste. And, these are all just basic features. The forums are also full of all sorts of additions and improvements.
Comparing to the above games, there are 3 more games from the Zelda series; old remasters, or "special" versions of games from Ubisoft, in which they added characters from Nintendo. There are also a couple of games about the fox Star Fox Zero, and there are races and fighting games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. But, most of them are either online projects or for playing in a company. In general, try out the best ones, fill your life with colors of the best quality, and enjoy!
